I am planning to have a Kohler 38kw standby generator installed which will be fueled by LP. The propane company says that do to cold weather conditions, I need to have a 1,000 gallon tank and not the 500 gallon tank I had been planning. Do I need such a large tank if tank does not get below 25 percent full?
